Empowering lives, the Tare Zameen Foundation: A path to empathy and change

While starkly contrasting realities stare back at each other, the Tare Zameen Foundation is something of a promising shelter of transformation. Born on December 19, 2018, under the Indian Trust Act 1882, since inception, TZF has been rigorously working for empowering lives of the most vulnerable and marginalized groups in society. Based on the principle of equal opportunity and dignity for all, our mission is cutting across vital areas such as education, healthcare, shelter, food, and water, while doing dedicated work towards women's empowerment and disease eradication.

Our Mission: Building Pathways to Opportunity
At TZF, we believe that every individual deserves a chance to thrive. Our initiatives are designed to tackle systemic inequalities and provide essential resources to those who need them most:

Education for All: We see it as an opportunity to free children from the cycle of poverty by providing quality education. A new generation with equal access to chances of learning will be free to dream and achieve.
Provision of Health care: Health is a human right, and our work revolves around providing accessible primary health care for those suffering from diseases and other serious medical conditions. Healthcare initiatives aim to address suffering and save lives.
Basic Needs: Access to food, water, and shelter prove futile to too many. We give people a hand up by providing basic needs so that no one goes to bed hungry or homeless.
Empowering Women towards Equality: Empowerment of women remains crucial in the overall march of society. Our projects work toward empowerment of women for autonomy, safety, and dignity; such are conditions wherein women can be and thrive as leaders .

Invitation to social responsibility
An effective champion for social responsibility, TZF appears whenever the society faces a difficulty. Be it in the form of relief material distribution in times of natural disaster or that when the economy is facing its worst phase, help reaches the right hands.
